With a strong emphasis on groove, the group employs an angular, free flowing approach to harmony in their songwriting. They combine traditional elements of classic songwriting with a more modern, creative connection to rhythm and time to create music that is familiar, yet exciting and fresh. From ethereal soundscapes to big, dramatic crescendos, the band uses a large dynamic range to express their ideas and emotions. Big Cat brings energy and passion to their performance.
