Big Cat is a 5 piece genre-fluid group that focuses on storytelling; drawing on elements of jazz, latin and rock. With a strong emphasis on groove, the group employs an angular, free flowing approach to harmony in their songwriting. They combine traditional elements of classic songwriting with a more modern, creative connection to rhythm and time to create music that is familiar, yet exciting and fresh. From ethereal soundscapes to big, dramatic crescendos, the band uses a large dynamic range to express their ideas and emotions. Big Cat brings energy and passion to their performance.

Based in Naarm, SWAMP is a four-piece collective invested in the power of rhythm, sound and imagery. With the shared passions for funk, R&B, jazz, neo-soul, punk and groove, the band quickly found an identity and voice in their music. An inescapable tendency to see and feel as though that through their music, they were embarking on a surreal journey through a swamp.
