The Suburban

Folk-rock for Suburban Backyards and Sunday Mornings. Made up of a huge voice, soul filled songwriting, deceivingly intricate rhythms and a touch of soaring fiddle with rock leanings, The Suburban takes the sounds of mid-90s pop-rock with folk, country and alternative music and combines it with raw emotion and lyricism.

Tapping into the sounds and styles including artists such as: Counting Crows, Dave Matthews Band, The Smith Street Band, Matchbox 20 and more, The Suburban brings honest, witty and deep articulate storytelling with soaring melodic hooks, singalongs, intensity and joy to bars, basements, festivals and homes in every town that needs it.

The Suburban has toured with Greg Arnold (Things of Stone and Wood) and Clint Boge (The Butterfly Effect) 

Malibu Spacey

Melbourne/Naarm band Malibu Spacey makes music that’s all jangly 12 string acoustic guitars, intricate lead lines, three-part vocal harmonies and noodly bass grooves. The sound takes pieces of 60s and 70s rock and folk, classic pop, glam, garage rock and dreamy psych landing among bands like Angel Olsen and the Lemon Twigs.

In 2022, Malibu Spacey released its debut four-track EP Something To Do In The Desert, produced by Rohan Sforcina at Head Gap and mastered by Joe Carra at Crystal Mastering. 2023 singles Electrocutie, Old Soft Shoe and Danger Danger have received regular airplay across community stations, including PBS, RRR, 2XX and 2ser. The band’s debut album, Good In Small Doses, is out now.

Curly & The Fringe

G'day, we're a folk/duo from Toorak, Melbourne. One of us is obsessed with music and the other has a lifelong passion for words. We're into Simon & Garfunkel and Boy & Bear, but we kind of look like we're doing some kind of Angus & Julia Stone esk project. We've got a super fun 5 piece band filled without very talented friends, cheers for having us, see you at the gig
